About Your Coach
Andrew Andraski, M.S.
Motivation
A single intention runs through every part of my work: to improve the human and environmental condition. The intention is held as one continuous practice rather than two separate aims.
Beyond the Work
I am most at home in the mountains. Whether climbing, skiing, mountaineering, or guiding wilderness therapy and outdoor education groups, I've spent years learning what it feels like to be a small body moving carefully across very large terrain. Travel and adventure are a steady undercurrent of my life.
These pursuits are not separate from the work I do. Adventure and the unknown teach the same lessons that mindfulness, meditation, and inner work do: pay attention to the obvious and the subtle, take the next step with awareness, trust the practice, and respect what is bigger than you. The mountains and the inner life have similar gravity.
Some of the voices and traditions that have most shaped me: Buddhist philosophy, my personal suffering (injury, illness, depression), Carl Jung, Dean Potter, Carlos Castaneda, Maynard James Keenan of TOOL, Todd Sheaffer of Railroad Earth, and the mountains themselves.
Professional Background
I am pursuing a master's degree in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling at Naropa University, leading toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the years to come. The training will deepen and extend the work this practice already does.
Mindfulness and meditation training:
11+ years and thousands of hours of daily meditation experience
100+ days participating in silent meditation retreats
7+ years of awareness integration through professionally guided depth psychology and dream analysis
Energy healing certifications:
Level 2 Universal White Time Healing (received June 2025)
Level 1 Universal White Time Healing (received Jan. 2024)
My professional path began in mechanical engineering, where I hold bachelor's and master's degrees, both focused on sustainable energy practices. That foundation grounded three years of work as a sustainability consultant and engineer, supporting climate action and conservation.
Alongside the technical work, I spent four combined years in wilderness therapy and outdoor education guiding people into the kinds of natural settings that often do more for the psyche than rooms ever will. The intersection of inner work and the outdoor world is where my interest deepened.
WHAT IS “RIDGEWATER” ?
Ridgewater is potential and content
that may flow in any direction.
Once set in motion,
The landscape it traverses is
permanently changed.
