Scheduling and Session Bookings

When you use the Site to schedule a free consultation, an energy healing session, a mindfulness or meditation coaching session, or any other service offered through Ridgewater Wellness, we collect personal information from you to complete the booking. We typically collect your name, email address, phone number (optional in most cases), and any details relating to your appointment that you choose to share. This information is collected through our scheduling provider (currently Calendly) so that they can provide online booking services to us. For details on Calendly's privacy practices, please review their Privacy Notice.

If a paid service is booked through the Site, payment is processed through a third-party payment processor (such as Stripe). All credit card transactions are encrypted and secure. Information is transferred only over HTTPS with industry-standard encryption. Servers are verified PCI compliant. Your credit card information is not stored on our servers. The third-party payment processor will receive your personal information and process it in accordance with their own privacy policy (Stripe's privacy policy is available at https://stripe.com/privacy). Payment processors are used only to complete and process payment transactions.

Information Shared During Sessions

When you participate in a session — including a free consultation, an energy healing session, or a mindfulness or meditation coaching session — you may voluntarily share personal information with the practitioner, including but not limited to your medical history, mental health history, current physical or emotional concerns, and other personal details relevant to the session. This information is treated with care and confidentiality and is used solely to inform the practitioner's work with you. This information is not shared with third parties without your explicit written consent, except as required by law.

Please note that Ridgewater Wellness LLC is not currently a HIPAA-covered entity. The practitioner is not a licensed mental health professional, physician, or other regulated health care provider, and the services offered are not psychotherapy, medical treatment, or any other regulated health care. While we treat all client information with care, the heightened legal protections that apply to HIPAA-covered entities and licensed mental health practitioners do not apply to this practice.

Information Retention

We retain the information we collect from you (such as name, email, phone, and session-related information) only as long as we need it to provide our services, communicate with you, or as required by law. You may request that your information be deleted at any time by contacting us at the email address listed below.
